Andrew is a respected executive who achieved senior roles using a proven business and technology acumen amassed over a 20-year career.  Since 2007 he has provided senior leadership, led complex multimillion-dollar projects, and consulted with small local and multibillion-dollar companies at Kent Record Management, Inc. in Michigan.  Throughout his career, he has conducted scores of presentations on leadership, information governance, records management, cloud computing, business development, privacy, security, project management, and career planning.  Recently, Andrew has conducted some short, content-rich, and entertaining Pecha Kucha and Ignite presentations at national ARMA and PRISM conferences.  Andrew kicked off the inaugural Ignite presentations at PRISM International in 2016 by discussing how effective employee performance evaluations can quickly evolve your company.

In addition to his role at Kent Records, he is a former adjunct professor at Davenport University and taught global project management and the technology capstone courses.  He is the founder of the career coaching company Admovio, where his resume review work and career advice is published on CIO.com in 2016.  He has served as a volunteer test writer on the Institute of Certified Records Managers (ICRM) Exam Development Committee since 2012.  Further, he has served on local ARMA boards throughout his career and was Western Michigan ARMA’s chapter member of the year in 2013.

Andrew is a Certified Records Manager (CRM), Project Management Professional (PMP), was part of the inaugural group to achieve the Information Governance Professional (IGP) certification, a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP), and holds various certifications from Microsoft and CompTIA.  Andrew has a Master Science in Administration with a concentration in Information Resource Management from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology.

Cynthia Robinson brings nearly 30 years of experience to her role as Administrative Division Manager, including serving MCDOT as Records Administrator, Customer Service Manager, Security Manager and Facilities Manager. As the Administrative Division Manager, Cynthia oversees Procurement and Contract Services, Facilities Management, Records Management, Customer Service and Warehouse Management activities for MCDOT. Additionally, she serves as the Custodian of Records and the Legal Liaison with the County Attorney's office. Cynthia holds numerous degrees and certifications including a Master of Public Administration, Certified Public Manager and an Electronic Content Master certification. She is past president of the ARMA Phoenix Chapter, Member of ARMA International,  International Facilities Managers Association, Project Management Institute and many other professional associations. In 2009, Cynthia was awarded the Outstanding Public Works Employee Award from the American Public Works Association. Cynthia is currently enrolled in a Ph.D. program with emphasis on E-Discovery and Litigation.

Presentation: The Care And Feeding Of Your Electronic Records

 
Laura Keller oversees the electronic records and audiovisual collections at the State Archives. She joined the archives in April 2014 as the Website Archivist and assumed her current role in December 2015. As part of her position, she consults with other state agencies and cultural institutions on best practices for digital preservation and electronic records management. Therefore, she is responsible for staying current on technological advances and practices in the digital archives world. Besides the constant quest for better long-term digital storage solutions, she is also working on integrating the state’s website collections into the Archives’ permanent catalog and finding outside funding for various preservation projects.
